Summer is here and The Shoe String Band is ready to get back to work starting this weekend.
We'll be playing on Saturdays once a month through the summer at a couple of new venues in Columbia County: find us at
Hudson Valley Distillers in Cleremont this Saturday afternoon from 2 - 5. Check out their tours and tastings every hour, on the hour, and cocktails in the Grove.
From there we're heading up the road to
Hudson Brewing Company in Hudson. HBC is the first (legal) brewery in Hudson NY since prohibition and offers a fine lineup of craft brews reflecting the heritage and history of that city. We'll be playing in the backyard beer garden from about 6:30 - 9pm.
On Sunday we're looking forward to once again getting down to
Saunderskill Farms in Accord. Saunderskill Farms is the 2nd oldest family farm in the whole United States, having been farmed by the Schoonmaker family since 1680. PYO strawberries, flowers, and lots more. We'll be playing from noon -3, hope to see you there!
