Summer is in high gear now, and we're still rolling along. Just back from the
Harry Smith Frolic campout in the bucolic Pioneer Valley in western Massachusetts, where we spent the biggest part of weekend playing and listening to others play music, eating, swimming, and hanging out with old friends and new. Some folks also took time out to sleep, but not very much. It doesn't get much better than this, imho.
We're back local this coming weekend, starting off on Saturday 7/21, at Opus 40 in Woodstock for the
Country Dance and BBQ Festival. Three bands, big dance floor, beautiful spot, and BBQ, what more can you ask for? See you there.
If you can't make that, we'll be at
Saunderskill Farms in Accord on Sunday, from noon - 3 pm, also a great spot to hang out on a summer day, enjoy the music and maybe something cool in the shade. Sound good? Come on down!
